Daughter the younger has been accepted into Kindergarten at her sister’s private Catholic school.

The benefit of going private: knowing that your kid actually needs to be ready for school, and capable of doing well in school.  Plus the teachers actually expect you to be involved in your child’s education, and expect you to be on top of things as well.

Not only are the kids getting a great education, but I’m getting an education in the schooling I should have had, instead of the progressive liberal pablum that I ended up with.  Of course if my parents had been more involved, maybe they would have realized the raw deal all the kids were getting…
